Organised by ITKIB Fairs on behalf of the Istanbul Textile Exporters’ Association (İTHİB), Texhibition Istanbul expects to receive over 25,000 visitors from regions including the EU, UK, US, North Africa, and the Middle East.

Industry leaders such as Altın Yıldız, Arıkan, Btd Tekstil, Can Tekstil, İskur Boya, Kipaş, Marsala, Mem Textile, Yünsa and Zorluteks will participate in the exhibition, introducing developments in areas ranging from woven and knitted fabrics to yarns, embroidery, printing, accessories, denim and artificial leather.

The exhibitor line-up is expected to draw a broad spectrum of visitors including apparel manufacturers, retail executives representing international brands, online sales platform managers, importers, distributors, designers, boutique owners and global buyers.

Special areas within Texhibition include the Trend Area, Innovation Hub, ReValue Stock Hub and Blue Black Texhibition.

These curated spaces are designed to provide insights on market trends and showcase new technologies and sustainability efforts.

The Trend Area offers sections dedicated to woven trends, knit trends and accessory trends, presenting perspectives on forthcoming seasons based on global market analysis.

Blue Black Texhibition focuses on the evolution of denim beyond traditional fashion uses by featuring interactive displays and seminars led by Turkish producers such as Atlas Denim, Bossa, Isko, ISKUR and Kipaş. These companies will demonstrate recent advances in sustainable fabrics and technology.

The Innovation Hub brings together advanced materials including biotech fibres and AI-supported production methods. Under the creative direction of Arzu Kaprol and Filiz Tunca, this section highlights adaptive textiles that respond to factors such as movement and temperature.

Another feature is the ReValue Stock Hub which supports circularity through real-time exploration of surplus fabric stocks for immediate design use. The hub also provides digital catalogues and maintains an online platform throughout the year.

ITHIB chairman Ahmet Öksüz said: “Texhibition Istanbul has evolved into a strategic meeting point for the international textile community. Each edition strengthens the connection between Türkiye’s manufacturing excellence and global demand, while highlighting the sector’s commitment to innovation, sustainability, and long-term value creation. The fair plays a vital role in reinforcing Türkiye’s position within the global supply chain and in shaping the industry’s future direction.”

Türkiye continues to play a significant role in global textile trade as both the fifth-largest exporter worldwide and the second-largest supplier to the EU.

In 2025, combined exports in textile and apparel reached approximately $26bn while overall production volume in Turkish textiles and ready-to-wear exceeded $73bn.

Türkiye’s textile exports maintained steady levels at $11.4bn in 2025 despite shifting market conditions.

Growth was most apparent in emerging markets, with exports to Africa increasing by around 15% while shipments to Middle Eastern countries grew by nearly 11%. This export activity represented 4.2% of Türkiye’s total exports for the year.

Texhibition Fair Committee president and ITHIB vice president Fatih Bilici said: “Texhibition has become a bridge carrying Türkiye’s production power, sustainability vision and innovative mindset to the world. And that bridge is expanding.”

“Texhibition Istanbul expects over 500 exhibitors in March 2026 edition ” was originally created and published by Just Style, a GlobalData owned brand.
