A step-by-step handbook that guides you through the 17 phases of launch starting with an idea to generating millions in revenue.
There’s never a “right time” to launch, which is why most products flop. But when they succeed, whew, there’s nothing better.
I’m on my fourth product at Hopin, a community platform called Superwave (beta).
Before Hopin, I launched:
An appA bookA SaaSA media publicationTwo courses
I’ve launched 10+ products in the last 10 years. Some massive successes and some bombing failures. In every launch, I learn more about what works and what doesn’t work.
So what you’re about to learn is the exact, refined process I’ve learned over the years to de-risk a product launch and bring a new product successfully to market.
Welcome to Dave’s Deep Dives. I write a weekly research report in Entrepreneur’s Handbook where I get personally obsessed with a company, a founder, or an idea and hunt for the deeper insights and best takeaways to share with you. Subscribe to receive the next one on Thursday.
A step-by-step guide to the 17 phases of a successful product launch; starting with an idea to generating millions in revenue.
Two notes to call out before you read this guide:
None of the steps themselves may seem “unique” or “novel” but the sequencing is key. Pay attention to the order of the steps and what comes first. Each step is cumulative. Once you reach that step, continue doing it on through to the end of the process. Exception: Step 1.
It all starts when you, dear founder, get an idea for a product. It should solve a clear pain point or problem.
