Investing.com – Denmark stocks were higher after the close on Friday, as gains in the , and sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Copenhagen, the rose 2.34%.
The best performers of the session on the were Novo Nordisk A/S Class B (CSE:), which rose 4.10% or 45.80 points to trade at 1,164.20 at the close. Meanwhile, Royal Unibrew A/S (CSE:) added 2.81% or 17.60 points to end at 644.00 and Ambu A/S (CSE:) was up 2.60% or 2.65 points to 104.50 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were AP Moeller – Maersk A/S B (CSE:), which fell 2.40% or 315.00 points to trade at 12,815.00 at the close. AP Moeller – Maersk A/S A (CSE:) declined 2.17% or 280.00 points to end at 12,630.00 and Jyske Bank A/S (CSE:) was down 0.63% or 3.20 points to 507.20.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 73 to 70 and 16 ended unchanged.
Shares in Novo Nordisk A/S Class B (CSE:) rose to all time highs; gaining 4.10% or 45.80 to 1,164.20.
Crude oil for June delivery was up 0.74% or 0.57 to $77.94 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in June rose 0.70% or 0.57 to hit $81.67 a barrel, while the June Gold Futures contract fell 1.57% or 31.65 to trade at $1,987.45 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was unchanged 0.06% to 6.79, while EUR/DKK unchanged 0.01% to 7.45.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.02% at 101.55.
