Investing.com – Denmark stocks were higher after the close on Monday, as gains in the , and sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Copenhagen, the rose 3.08%.
The best performers of the session on the were Ambu A/S (CSE:), which rose 6.40% or 6.60 points to trade at 109.80 at the close. Meanwhile, Novo Nordisk A/S Class B (CSE:) added 4.75% or 52.00 points to end at 1,146.00 and Bavarian Nordic (CSE:) was up 4.20% or 7.65 points to 189.80 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were GN Store Nord (CSE:), which fell 1.59% or 2.85 points to trade at 176.20 at the close. Orsted A/S (CSE:) declined 0.95% or 6.00 points to end at 624.80 and Demant A/S (CSE:) was down 0.17% or 0.50 points to 292.00.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 100 to 54 and 19 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for June delivery was up 2.48% or 1.77 to $73.11 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in July rose 2.14% or 1.61 to hit $76.91 a barrel, while the June Gold Futures contract rose 0.45% or 9.05 to trade at $2,033.85 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was unchanged 0.03% to 6.76, while EUR/DKK unchanged 0.01% to 7.45.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.03% at 101.03.
