Investing.com – Israel stocks were higher after the close on Monday, as gains in the , and sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Tel Aviv, the added 0.70%.
The best performers of the session on the were Big Shopping Centers Ltd (TASE:), which rose 4.04% or 1,310.00 points to trade at 33,710.00 at the close. Meanwhile, ICL Israel Chemicals Ltd (TASE:) added 3.49% or 68.00 points to end at 2,018.00 and Israel Corp (TASE:) was up 3.48% or 3,160.00 points to 93,840.00 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Energean Oil & Gas PLC (TASE:), which fell 4.53% or 233.00 points to trade at 4,912.00 at the close. Delek Group (TASE:) declined 1.76% or 800.00 points to end at 44,700.00 and Bezeq Israeli Telecommunication Corp Ltd (TASE:) was down 1.52% or 7.20 points to 465.50.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange by 297 to 167 and 36 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for July delivery was down 3.65% or 2.56 to $67.61 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in August fell 3.22% or 2.41 to hit $72.38 a barrel, while the August Gold Futures contract fell 0.50% or 9.90 to trade at $1,967.30 a troy ounce.
USD/ILS was up 0.49% to 3.60, while EUR/ILS rose 0.21% to 3.87.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.18% at 103.33.
