Ask The Right Questions About Agentic Commerce
Share on FacebookShare on TwitterShare on LInkedIn

You can imagine that we hear a lot of questions about agentic commerce. The right questions are about your brand, products, and customers, figuring out whether it makes sense to prioritize new digital channels and experiences and, if prioritized, how it will impact your larger commerce strategy. But often we hear companies starting in the wrong place. “How should we engage in agentic commerce?” or “How do I get my products into answer engines right away?”

We’ll dive into these (and other) questions during our interactive workshops at Forrester’s CX Forums in New York City (June 16–17) and San Francisco (June 29–30): Catalyze Agentic Commerce — How To Move From FOMO To Focus. (Can’t wait until then? Forrester’s webinar on the state of agentic commerce is now also available on demand to Forrester clients and prospects!)

In our interactive workshop, you will explore the answers for your organization to questions such as:

What forms of agentic commerce exist today?

Experiences occur in both the owned environment (e.g., a brand’s website) and the non-owned environment (e.g., an answer engine like ChatGPT). You must take both into account to explore agentic commerce holistically for your brand. You’ll learn how to make sense of the dizzying amount of nomenclature about the term “agentic commerce” — and we’ll dig into customer experiences and expectations that consumers have today.

How are customers adopting answer engine shopping?

We’ll look at demographic factors and discuss consumer trends. More importantly, we’ll get you thinking about how your customers want to shop. Enabling engaging shopping experiences will help you convert and retain customers — even on emerging digital channels.

What are the business impacts of agentic commerce?

There is so much potential in the new channel. The opportunities and risks will depend on your organization’s maturity across core experience and technology dimensions. We will explore these dimensions to help you determine your readiness — and the next step — in the agentic commerce evolution.

Are your products a good fit for answer engine selling?

Using an interactive exercise, you’ll explore how strong a fit answer engine selling is for your products, brand, and customers. You will leave with the ability to clearly articulate whether or not agentic commerce should be a priority for your organization right now.

How does agentic commerce fit into your larger commerce strategy?

We’ll zoom out and look at how agentic commerce fits with your broader commerce strategy, across both owned digital properties and third-party experiences. And we’ll help you pressure-test venturing into agentic commerce and its role in your business even as market volatility continues.

Register now and join us in June in NYC or San Francisco to make sure you’re asking the right questions to guide your agentic commerce strategy. You’ll come away with a view that puts things in perspective, as well as actionable takeaways to bring back to your team.

In the meantime, check out our webinar (open to prospective and current clients). For Forrester clients, schedule a guidance session so we can discuss your pressing questions now. And watch for further research about agentic commerce, which you’ll discover via Forrester AI.
