SOME CARD INFO MAY BE OUTDATED

This page includes information about these cards, currently unavailable on
NerdWallet. The information has been collected by NerdWallet and has not
been provided or reviewed by the card issuer.

ESPN streaming costs as little as $12.99 per month for select content or $29.99 for unlimited ESPN. (All the sports!) There are also plans that come bundled with other streaming services, and options for ads or no ads.

If you’re pondering how you’ll watch the U.S. Open this summer or NFL football this fall — and ESPN isn’t part of your cable package (or you don’t have cable) — an ESPN streaming subscription could help. Here’s what it would cost you.

ESPN offers two basic plans:

Cost: $12.99/month or $129.99/year.

Includes: ESPN with PGAT Live, college sports, LALIGA, tennis, some NHL, ESPN originals, 30 for 30 documentaries and E60 contents.

Cost: $29.99/month or $299.99/year.

Includes: All of ESPN Select, plus all other sports coverage, including NFL, NBA, WNBA and college football.

ESPN sells bundled plans with other streaming services. Here are some recent offerings:

Disney+, Hulu, ESPN Select Bundle Premium: $29.99/month.
Disney+, Hulu, ESPN Unlimited Bundle: $35.99/month with ads or $44.99/month without ads.

NFL+ Premium and ESPN Unlimited: $39.99/month.

NFL+ Premium and Disney+, Hulu, ESPN Unlimited Bundle: $45.99/month.

ESPN, Fox One Bundle: $39.99/month.

How many devices can view ESPN at one time?

Subscribers to ESPN plans can stream content on up to three devices for the majority of content.

Does ESPN allow password sharing?

You may only share your ESPN subscription within your household. Your household is defined as devices associated with your primary home and used by the people who live there.

In 2025, ESPN+ was replaced with ESPN’s new library of streaming plans, including ESPN Select and ESPN Unlimited.

If you’re a sports enthusiast, evaluate the sports you typically watch (golf? WNBA?) and the cost of the plan that includes them. One way to think about this is to use the 50/30/20 budget, in which 50% of your money goes to needs, 30% to wants and 20% to savings and paying off debt.
In this kind of budget, streaming services would fall into the “wants” category. You’ll have to decide whether you’ve got room in that bucket for sports streaming charges, and if you don’t, you may need to cut back in other places, like weekly takeout or entertainment.
Another option: If your “wants” category is tight, check out rewards categories for the credit cards you have — some cards offer streaming rewards, including as much as 6% cash back.
