SYDNEY—Australia’s beleaguered stock exchange operator is investigating an outage that prevented dozens of companies from publishing investor updates at the start of the new trading week.
ASX said Monday that about 80 companies had unsuccessfully tried to issue price-sensitive announcements. The exchange operator paused trade in those stocks, which included supermarket supplier Metcash, until the announcements were released.
