Manchester, NH – March 12, 2026 – York IE, an investment and operating firm that builds and backs software companies, today announced the appointment of Ron Kermisch, senior partner at Bain & Company, to its Strategic Advisory Board.

“Ron’s combination of enterprise operating experience and talent leadership is a powerful addition to our advisory board,” said Kyle York, CEO of York IE. “As York IE continues to professionalize and scale its platform, his insights into organizational design and leadership development will be invaluable.”

Ron Kermisch is a senior partner at Bain & Company in the Communications & Entertainment practice and serves as Bain’s Global Head of Talent Acquisition, bringing more than 30 years of management consulting experience advising enterprise organizations through complex growth and transformation initiatives. He has worked extensively across the communications, media, and technology sectors, partnering with wireless and wireline carriers, cable companies, and software and equipment providers on their most critical strategic challenges.

Ron’s expertise spans pricing strategy, growth strategy, organizational design, and large-scale process improvement, with a particular focus on leading major change programs. He has deep experience helping companies modernize pricing models, reduce operational leakage, and deploy pricing technology to drive sustainable performance. He also leads Bain’s partnership with Pricefx, a leading pricing software provider, and serves on its supervisory board.

In addition to his client work, Ron’s role as Global Head of Talent Acquisition gives him a unique perspective on building and scaling high-performing organizations. His enterprise operating experience, combined with a strong technical foundation, will help York IE further professionalize its operating platform and accelerate its next phase of growth.

“Companies today need partners who understand both strategy and execution,” said Kermisch. “York IE is building an operating platform that meets companies where they are and helps them grow with discipline and clarity. I’m excited to contribute to that mission.”

Kermisch joins Strategic Advisory Board members Chuck Saia, Bob Graham, and John Bisack, completing a group of advisors with deep expertise across enterprise leadership, operating models, talent, and value creation in the private markets.

As York continues to scale its global end-to-end operating platform, these experienced advisors from the management consulting, professional services and financial services world will help guide the firm’s strategy, strengthen its operating model, and amplify its impact across industries. Their collective insights will support York’s mission to reshape how software companies are built, scaled, and monetized through a unique blend of early-stage capital and tech-enabled execution.
